Artist's Description
I like to paint using masks and shields so that I can spatter the paint over the under paint. Kind of a chaos under control thing. A lot of my earlier work is on cut out relief panels. This is cool because I put a float frame behind the panel. The effect is 3D with its shadows behind it on the wall. "Feral Child" has been in the family since '98, and is not for sale.
About David Chapple
My background is in commercial art. I’ve been lucky enough to have survived lots of layout, design, illustration, and art direction with most of my mind still intact. You're in a league by yourself, Dave! I love every piece in your gallery. Beautiful! I was born in Utah, then moved away. Still have some relatives there. My father was a great fly fisherman.
