I really love the classic sail boats and their romantic rigging. I like the pirate thing too. A lot of my newer work is on cut out relief panels. This is cool because I put a float frame behind the panel. The effect is 3D with its shadows behind it on the wall. A stand out for your collection.

My background is in commercial art. I’ve been lucky enough to have survived lots of layout, design, illustration, and art direction with most of my mind still intact. This history has taught me a lot, and for that I’m truly grateful. Over the years I’ve created a number of genres in my fine art career. They have all been influenced by my life experiences and interests. I’m fortunate to have had a variety of experiences with Sailors, Horses, Cowboys, Indians, and Truck Drivers. I’ve also lived in places like Salt Lake City, Chicago, England, Anacortes, Washington (on a sail boat) and currently Medford, Oregon.
